Now that you’ve created your bot on the Certainly platform, you can now connect it to the SunCo platform. Integrating with SunCo will enable your bot to communicate with your customers across every popular messaging app. See the SunCo documentation here. This article will focus on connecting your Certainly bot to the SunCo Web Messenger widget. If you wish to use your SunCo app via the Certainly widget, please read this article.
Login to Home - SunCo (smooch.io), click the Create new app button, give it a name, then click Create app.
Click connect channels:
On the Integrations Directory, scroll down to the Chatbots section and select the Certainly App:
Click on the Visit site to install button:
Once on the Certainly platform, open up the bot you wish to connect to SunCo, then browse to Bot Settings>Channels. In the SunCo section, click Connect with Sunshine. You’ll then be asked to enter your SunCo credentials, enter those and select the app you just created in the SunCo platform:
Grant the Certainly platform permission to access your SunCo account by clicking Allow:
The SunCo channel should now show as Connected:
Head back to the SunCo platform, click on your app and you’ll see the Overview screen where you can confirm the platforms are connected:
To add the SunCo widget to your site, first obtain your integration ID from the SunCo platform by clicking Configure next to Web Messenger and scrolling down to the Integration ID section:
Follow their documentation here and scroll down to the Script Tag Method section for instructions on how to add the integration ID to the script and place it on your site.
To customise (colours, widget logo, etc.) the SunCo widget, click Configure next to the Web Messenger integration.
With all that done, you've now integrated your Certainly bot with SunCo. Congrats!
